Spelling Bee National Competition 2017

Spelling Bee Lebanon funded by US Embassy Beirut and implemented by USPEaK in 22 schools including 10 private schools and 12 public schools, 2 of which are for Syrian refugee students held its national competition at Baakline National Library in the presence of the Deputy Chief of Mission,at The American Embassy, Beirut, Mr. Danny Hall. This project which takes place in partnership with the American Corners of Zahle and Baakline announced the regional winners for Bekaa and Mt. Lebanon and on the national level.
Two co-champions were announced national winners: Evana Tarabay, Kamal Jounblat Intermediate Public School and Clara Lebbos, Secondary Evangelical School. The second national winner is Sally Bou Diab from Baakline Intermediate Public School and the third winner is Hady Akl from Secondary Evangelical School. The Bekaa Regional winners are:
First: Ahmad Msheik, Heliopolis School
Second: Clara Lebbos, Secondary Evangelical School
Third: Hady Akl, Secondary Evangelical School
Mount Lebanon Regional Winners are:
First: Dima Al Ghareeb, Al Rabih School
Second: Sally Bou Diab, Baakline Intermediate Public School
Third: Evana Tarabay, Kamal Jounblat Intermediate Public School.
