Twenty three alumnae from Bekaa attended a full day training on Gender Based Violence and Campaigning conducted by Ms. Rana Aoun who is an expert in the field. The ladies, where Ms. Aoun also trained in those clusters helped in the training and they brought more ladies from last year to attend the training. During their TOT, they came up with the campaign slogan “Marriage is a partnership, not an ownership”, which was made on street banners in Rashaya and Kfarzabad and on posters that were distributed to all clusters and on car stickers that were given by ladies to more than 1500 cars. It was also boosted on our Facebook page and got more than 12,000 viewers.

As a part of the campaign, our partner in Rashaya hosted a seminar for two clusters of Rashaya and Hasbaya. The seminar included two speeches for a Psychologist and the GBV trainer and was facilitated by the Program Manager.
