One of TWE program’s mission is to raise the level of social participation of the women in their communities.  96% of the ladies celebrated International Women’s Day compared to 36% according to our M&E surveys. Ladies from different classes participated in community initiatives as well as some of them with the cooperation of the partners were part of other activities that involved different types of participation. Alumni had a significant role where they got trained, helped in cascading training and contributed to a nationwide campaign. Ladies throughout the program were empowered by their teachers, the curriculum, and the urge to learn and find a job. They were empowered when they had social training sessions and excursions and changed their pre-concepts about each other in many situations.
