February 1st | Women in the Social Political Activism Academy attended a panel discussion with MP Rola Tabsh and Dr. Nataly Nasreddine.
Participants were inspired by the journey of Dr. Nataly who answered their questions about Women cancers.
MP Tabsh talked about the different laws that were passed regarding women’s protection on the physical and financial levels. She also stressed on the independent financial entity of woman and her spouse in case of bankruptcy.
The audience who came from 27 different regions in Lebanon were highly impressed by the journey of these two women leaders.
The social Political academy is a component of the Teaching Women English Program which is funded by the Public Affairs Office at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.
