Rachaiya Citadel hosted a seminar under the campaign of “Marriage is a partnership contract, not an ownership contract”. USPEaK and the municipality of Rashaiya organized the event. TWE alumni from the last year participated as well as the ladies of Hasbaiyya class. Dr. Dalal Al Halabi, a clinical psychology specialist talked about the psychological trauma caused by gender-based violence. Ms. Rana Aoun, the GBV trainer, a  psychologist and a worker at an International organization also talked about the campaign and the effects of GBV on women and how to overcome that. Ms. Rawan Yaghi, TWE manager, facilitated the discussion. Mayor Bassam Dalal talked about the importance of gender equality. Questions and answers followed the seminar.
