USPEaK believes in the importance of collective individual work. As many of its partners are very active and they might need a chance to have a networking event, they were invited to a Thanksgiving Dinner in the presence of Her Excellency Ambassador Elizabeth Richards. 24 partners joined a networking event that took place at Grand Hotel Broummana. Five Embassy Officers joined the dinner and were able to engage with partners and teachers regarding different issues. USPEaK President, Rawan Yaghi made welcoming notes and a short speech on the importance of Teaching Women English. The Ambassador talked about the importance of educational programs that the embassy supports Lebanon with and about TWE and its ability to empower women in Lebanon.
Partners and teachers were so excited to live this experience. This was considered as a launching event for Teaching Women English 2018- 2019. Many of them had the chance to talk about issues they consider important with Embassy Officers.
